

About the Clifton Centre
The Clifton Centre has been serving the community since the early days of the town. First as the Clifton Tavern then as the Southwater Area Community Centre and now renamed the Clifton Centre. The 20 year plus charity mission is to ' support opportunities for local residents to improve their lives'. Join an affordable support groups for mental health, addictions, hearing loss, , seniors, parents and more plus a changing range of leisure and educational activities.

Facilities
Four rooms are available to hire by the hour in the community centre and another four rooms are rented by the month in the adjoining business centre. The centre hosts activities that have a clear community benefit. The rooms are welcoming, safe and have good accessibility. A small hall can be used empty or with tables and chairs. A cafe / sitting room is perfect for small groups like book clubs or coffee mornings. The meeting room has two rattan chairs and can host small groups up to six. The music studio is fully equipped and run by Lifesize.
